Objective
The Edusave Awards currently focus only on academic achievement. The
new EAGLES Awards will help to
encourage pupils in every school to strive to excel in all non-academic
areas.
Value of Awards
Secondary schools, JC/CI and ITE pupils will receive $150 each.
Quota of Awards
Each secondary school, independent school, JC/CI and ITE will be given
an award quota equal to 5% of it's
Singaporean pupils.
Eligibility Criteria
These are the minimum threshold criteria which a pupil must meet before
he will be considered for the award.
Pupils must be Singaporeans and must satisfy criteria as well as (b),
(c) or (d) as applicable.
- Pass their school examinations and attain a conduct
grade of good or better.
- For awards in Leadership: have assumed leadership
appointments as Executive Committee Members in core activities or Captain/Vice
Captain of Sports and Games.
- For awards in Achievement: have represented the school
in competitions, performancesor exhibitions at International, National,
National Youth, National Age Group, Or Singapore School Levels.
- For awards in Service: have completed at least 16
hours of CIP, or attained a high level of voluntary work in school or
outside the school.
