Victoria School is adopting the Teaching for Understanding (TfU) framework
a framework developed through a 6-year project at Project Zero of the
Harvard Graduate School of Education, in close collaboration with a
number of teachers of varied subject matters - to spearhead our Teach
Less Learn More (TLLM) strategy and initiatives to enhance students’
holistic development and teacher capacity. VS was identified by the
Ministry of Education as one of the eight schools in Singapore to implement
its school-based curriculum in the first wave via the use of the TfU
framework.
VS is of the view that TfU and new educational technologies used are mutually supportive, synergetic innovations. They will form the key premise to drive our research work.
