Dear Parents
Greetings to all in the Victorian community!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new VPSG Chairman. It is unfortunate that the ex Chair, Mr Yip Ying Kiong had to step down suddenly owing to pressing job commitments. As we all know, Ying Kiong has done a wonderful job as VSPSG chair for the past 2.5 years and he had stepped down with great regret that he is unable to finish his term.
As someone new to the VSPSG, I was moved to accept the chairmanship not only from the earnest requests of the rest of the committee but also because in the year that my son has been in VS, I have been very impressed by the principal, teachers, the enthusiasm of other VSPSG committee members and the overall quality of the Victorian institution. I realised too, how important the VSPSG is in working together with staff, students and other parents to collectively give our best to our boys.
We will be announcing our programmes for the rest of the year soon. I look forward to working with the rest of the committee to do our best to achieve the VSPSG mission to partner the school to bring out the best out of every Victorian. To do this effectively we need your support as concerned parents to be fully aware of your role in your son’s education and to do that little bit extra to make the Victorian experience truly exceptional.
Warmest Regards,
Yeoh Lam Keong
Chairman VSPSG
