Criteria:
All students who wish to offer the nine subject combinations (VS3A, VS3B, VS3C, VS3D and VS3E) should meet the following three criteria:
a) greater than or equal to 75% for Total Overall Average
b) greater than or equal to 75% for the average of the following:
English (Overall), Maths (Overall), Science (Overall) AND one best Humanities (Overall)
c) be in the top 30 of the cohort applying for the 9-subject combination

3rd Language/BI/Music/AEP/D&T may be offered as the 9th Subject (VS3B, VS3C, VS3D and VS3E), subject to approval by the Principal and Vice Principal.

All students who wish to offer the eight subject triple science combination (VS2A and VS2B) should meet the following four criteria:
a) greater than or equal to 67% for Total Overall Average
b) greater than or equal to 67% for the average of the following:
English (Overall), Maths (Overall), Science (Overall) AND one best Humanities (Overall)
c) Maths and Science average greater than or equal to 70%
d ) be in the top 150 of the cohort applying for the triple science combination

All students who wish to offer the eight subject double humanities combination should meet the following three criteria:
a) greater than or equal to 67% for Total Overall Average
b) greater than or equal to 67% for the average of the following:
English (Overall), AND all three Humanities (Overall)
c) be in the top 30 of the cohort applying for the double humanities combination (Combined Humanities with Pure Geography/History/Literature)

All students who wish to offer the other eight subject combinations (double science, Combined Humanities with 3rd Language/BI/Music/AEP/D&T) should meet the following three criteria:
a) greater than or equal to 65% for Total Overall Average
b) greater than or equal to 65% for the average of the following:
English (Overall), Maths (Overall), Science (Overall) AND one best Humanities (Overall)
c) be in the top 38 of the cohort applying for these combinations.

Students who do not meet the above criteria would be offered the 7-subject combination if they meet the MOE promotion criteria.


* Important Notes:

1) A subject will be offered ONLY if there is a minimum of 20 students opting for it.

2) The Subject Combination offered is based strictly on merit AS WELL AS the optimal deployment of teaching staff.
