Officially
launched by Mr. Lee Yoke Suan in April, the Challenge
saw students and Old Victorians completing a multitude
of tasks that were demanding as well as rewarding.
"I commend the participants of A Victoria Challenge
1995 for putting in so muich effort in this project. I
hope that your efforts to reach out to the less fortunate
will not cease with this exercise. There are many other
ways in which you can keep alive the spirit of caring
and sharing. You can volunteer your time and skills to
community service according to your own schedules and
commitments. Every little bit helps as each little act
of giving, pooled together as a collective effort, goes
a long way in helping the less fortunate."
